Parents have a special power. When they are united, “on the same page”, their effect on their family is stunning.
Mothers and fathers don’t have to agree initially but when you decide the proper course of action through prayer, compromise and final agreement it is really a profound event. The source of the power of agreeing is from the Lord Who said that where two or three are gathered together in My name, I am there in the midst of them (Matthew 18:20).The “three” might be the parents and the teacher. Wow! What a combination. It makes it possible then for our children to see what we are teaching them rather than see that mom and dad and the school are divided and I can just slip through the cracks and do my will.
